Khadijah Receives a DatukshipCongratulations to Khadijah on being conferred the Darjah Indera Mahkota Pahang (DIMP) award which carries the title of Dato' in conjunction with the Sultan of Pahang's 74th birthday. Khadijah's great friend, the Alleycats singer David Arumugam, was given the same award at the ceremony in Pekan.

The Pearl Anniversary Concerts
The Khadijah Ibrahim: The Pearl Anniversary Concerts, held at Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS on 17 and 18 November, were a complete triumph. Only the third popular Malaysian artist to take the stage at the finest concert venue in the country, Khadijah entertained full houses on both nights with a winning combination of consummate singing and witty commentary on her thirty year journey in the music industry. Guest appearances by her long-time mentor, Dato' Dr Ahmad Nawab, and frequent collaborator, Ramli Sarip, added a special veneer to an impeccable performance supported by brilliant musicianship. The Album
To celebrate Khadijah's thirty years in the music industry Warner Music is launching Khadijah Ibrahim: Album Mutiara, a definitive collection of 30 songs drawn from her entire recording career. The 2 CD compilation includes all her most famous hits as well as personal favourites, sung in both Malay and English. Beautifully remastered and packaged, Album Mutiara is a fitting tribute to an outstanding artist.
